Elden Ring’s bosses have an amazing feature to drop Remembrances when defeated, which you can usually duplicate but many players are unable to. When diving into the whole process of duplicating I learned that the solution is easier than expected
To duplicate remeberances locate the Walking Mausoleums. Mausoleum without a bell can’t duplicate some remembrances. The version with a bell hanging below allows duplication of ALL remembrances.
Below, we’ll go into the details of the whole process of duplicating remebrances.
In total, there are 15 remembrances, and they require you to defeat every major boss in Elden Ring, along with some optional ones. A remembrance is a unique item dropped by some bosses that can either be consumed to get a large amount of runes or traded in for unique spells or weapons
Remembrance duplication starts with finding the Walking Mausoleum, a large, stone-stemmed structure which strolls around specific areas. The players will have to attack patches of skull patches that have formed around the Mausoleum like diseases.
These patches can be found on either the top or legs of the Mausoleum. Upon doing so, the Mausoleum will collapse, allowing entry inside to clone the item
A player can only duplicate one Remembrance per Walking Mausoleum, if they’d like to duplicate more than one they would need to locate a new Mausoleum. Please note that the Mausoleum with a bell hanging below allows duplication of ALL remembrances. Mausoleums without bells can only clone remembrances by demigods.
As an example, by duplicating the “Remembrance of the Grafted,” you can obtain both the Axe of Godrick and the Grafted Dragon, but the game will not allow you to obtain two Axes, nor two Grafted Dragons. Players who wish to double-wield some of the more impressive boss weapons in the game may be disappointed by this. But looking on the bright side this is an amazing feature added into the game
